... quiet snowy this week which meant that the conditions were great, although visibility at times a challenge (or was that my age?).

Last year we tried Loon for the day. This year we ventured up to Cannon which was wonderful. Slightly more dated than WV, but fabulous trails, great food and a wide selection of craft beers.

We revisited the boulders and stream section of Nancy Pond Trail and investigated the little puddles and small cascades while listening to the sounds - this kind of landscape experience is one of Harvey's favorites - and mine as well.

Today, we said some of our goodbyes to Eddie and Dave at Bart's as we all gave advice to tourists thinking of driving the Mt Washington auto road (it's a lot easier than hiking it) - our best advice I think was to check at the base of the mountain if there were high winds today or any snow or ice on the road.
