... that’s hosted by the “Rory Foundation”. And true to Irish weather form, the tournament finished today in glorious sunshine, albeit the golfers were still wearing thick gloves between shots.

A (rather ordinary) dinner at Patrick Collins pub ended a special day of diverse scenery, spectacular cliffs, rolling green paddocks with stone walls and a picturesque village.

Adare is a must for anyone visiting ...

... a hurling stick to take home. Now off to the castle. Wow! It's pretty! The castle has a huge golf course, amazing decor and beautiful rooms. Dinner was at another castle, where our very own Chad and Ginnie were crowned King and Queen and presided over a feast? ... I went home and fell promptly to sleep, excited to turn off my alarm clock once and for all. I woke up at 1pm the next day, ate a little cereal, and helped clean the house with the other girls. The girls and I drove back together, and soon enough we were back in Limerick, back to normal life.
