... the town of Knocknagoshel as we thought we should at least see the town where we were staying. There was nothing there. We drove into Killarney and stopped for a bit of a look around, an ice-cream of course (it was 6c), some lunch supplies (as we should really eat lunch today) and my all-important stop at a tourist office to pick up some maps. We’d been using the ones from the cottage and I’ve realised I like having maps of where we’ve been. A little anal I know.

As I went up each floor, I was able to look down below or out at the view but there wasn't much room to walk since it was really only the stair case remaining. When I was at the second floor to the top, there were some missing stairs so it was a bit scary but doable and I really wanted to get to the top.

... as there is only one in the room and it's a 10 person dorm. When we first arrived, we set out to explore the town on foot. We made friends with some random kids who wanted to know why we were taking a photo of the tree, and when we told them that we're from the desert and don't see trees like this often, they proceeded to pluck up some kind of branch and gift us a "tree". Haha Apparently there are 7 of us ...
