17th day

Another 530 miles today. No rain ::) Checked the weather and tomorrow looks nice in the Lehigh Valley, to have only 2 days of all rain out of 18 we REALLY lucked out. As you saw on previous posts there were some spots of rain and the storm in Minnesota on our way out, but all in all was the best we could have asked for. Canal Park is a great little ballpark and the Rubber Ducks won, so we had fun, but there wasn't a single rubber duck to be found in the souvenir shop. From there we drove on, out of Ohio, a little way through Pennsylvania, and into New York for a camping ...

Cuyahoga Valley National Park....Cuya-what?

I bet you have never heard of this park.....neither did we until we started planning our trip....nevertheless, Cuyahoga Valley National Park is a gem not to be missed. Conveniently located off of I-80, CVNP is a gem not to be missed. Only established as a National Park in 2000, and not at all like the parks of the west, CVNP has much to offer. We spent five wonderful hours riding the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. This magnificent multi-use trail leads ...
