We arrived in London an hour early as we had 230km/h tail winds! It was a nice flight with no real turbulence and time seemed to pass quickly. It was a great Walking Women holiday based at a hotel right at the beach, on the wide sands of Oxwich Bay. We were a group of 10 and one guide, an eclectic bunch, including a professional clarinetist, a PhD lecturer on death and dying, an artist, a very fit 77-year-old, a former police officer (the guide), a teacher and others.

Cheadle to Llanwrtyd Wells. Wales
Dropped our extra suitcase at Malcolm's then headed south on the A roads towards Shrewsbury. The rain persistent all the day. In fact it been raining constantly for over 2 days now. I can see what they mean about the English weather. Most years when we come we are lucky with the weather so guess we are due for the not so good stuff.
