... like best new pub in the UK in the Good Pub Guide of 2011. The inside of the pub itself was quirky with a surf theme. Carl, one of the co-owners was a middle age surfer wandering around in thongs and boardies. The toilet walls were plastered with cuttings from surfing magazines. ... The cobbled streets and narrow lanes; the cafe lined high street which has been pedestrianised for the summer visitors; the beaches and boats in the harbour. A lively town with lots of buskers and stalls to keep the hoilday makers happy.
Another time we would like to take a boat trip to Caldey Island and have a seafood meal at one of the many fish restaurants here.

Today one of Seven had a day off to relax on site while Six went to explore another two beaches. We looked at Freshwater West which was very tempting with its fabulous sand dunes and and great display of surfing to enjoy but decided it wasn't really a 'safe' beach for swimming and moved on to the beach at Angel.
