      ... the true wonders of the world (pun intended). The amount of water that is cascading over American and Horseshoe Falls at any given moment cannot be properly described, only experienced. To finish off the day me make a quick international excursion to get the best perspective. Standing on the Canadian side, we finally get a proper perspective of how enormous the falls truly are.

      Not a bad first stop for our journey ...

      ... and military leader called Tecumseh. Tecumseh's followers took Chicago exactly 200 years and two days ago, massacring most of Chicago's residents during a small battle on the Lake Michigan beach. The Chicagoans were headed to the safety of the closest big city, where the closest hospital and post office was: Detroit. But they never made it. If they did make it, they would've found a British flag flying over the city.

      ... two things;
      1: On the down side, all the good trips and tours into and under the falls were closed.
      2: On the plus side, there were a lot less tourists around so we got a better view.

      The winter schedule also gave us the opportunity to see what happens when the mist rises up from the falls and freezes wherever it lands which made for some for some winter wonderful looking photos.
