Oh My God!! I loved it!!

Giorgio was Amazing. The rooms, Amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a good time. So if you're a crabapple, you should stay somewhere else. The location is great. Water pressure is great. Giorgio also takes you to yummy rustico restaurants and doesn't make fun of your butchered Italian when you order! My friends and I had the best vacation I could imagine. All thanks to Vitamin G. (That's Giorgio)

Giorgio is the BEST!

Despite remodeling, and trying to take a vacation, Giorgio was generous enough to let me stay at his bed and breakfast for a few days in January 2004. He was so incredible. He took me for a driving tour of Palermo, introduced me to Sicilian food, and gave me an excellent night tour of Lo Spasimo- this was definitely a highlight of my trip! He also took me to Segesta and Erice- two places I would have had difficulty getting to on my own.

Giorgio's generosity and great sense of humor definitely separate a stay at his place from a stay anywhere else.

If you are going to Palermo- stay with Giorgio!

I recommend him and his bed and breakfast whole- heartedly.

If you do go....tell him Jen from Boston said "hi".

A great place with a great host to stay in Palermo

I fully agree with all previous reviews. Giorgio is a great host who, just to give you an idea of his politeness, arranged to pick me up at the airport with his car (I was arriving at midnight and the airport is some 30 kms away from Palermo). He also offered to all guests his interesting evening tours in and around Palermo. And all this for free!

He was available to give you advice or tips about anything you wanted to do, or just to discuss your impressions of Palermo. His B&B is also conveniently located (just five minutes away from a train stop and from the Royal Palace), clean and quiet. And all this, including of course a nice breakfast, for an unbeatable price! Giorgio's House is certainly THE place to be if you want to stay in Palermo for a reasonable price and be assured of the warmest welcome. This time I could only go to Palermo for a week-end so I am looking forward to a longer visit (you can also use Giorgio's as a basis for excursions to places near Palermo).

Great!! The real thing!!

Giorgios house is brill. There may be posh hotels (at posh prices) but Giorgio make you feel part of Palermo's life. Right in the heart of the old city. 5 mins walk from rail station, fantastic old market. Giorgios trip at night was a real pleasure with great company and food. Go with Ryanair and enjoy a wonderful week in a graet country for less than Blackpool and a Macdonalds! 5 star rating. Ciao Paul and Liz

Happy Birthday

I just celebrated my 32nd birthday at Giorgio?s House in Palermo & had the most wonderful birthday party. I would recommend Giorgio?s House to anyone interested in visiting Palermo. The B&B, tours, & host himself are just unbeatable. I can not thank Giorgio enough for such a great holiday!

Giorgios house rules

We stayed at Giorgios House last weekend and it was great. It's in a fab location at the edge of the old town and really close to a train station. Giorgio is extremely helpful and enthusiastic host who goes out of his way to make your stay the best it can be. I'de would highly recommend you visit Giorgio and his house soon!

Great place to stay

My girlfriend and I stayed at Giorgio's House for 5 nights and were never less than happy with our choice. It's in a pretty good location, near to public transport and the old city, and Giorgio is a particularly amiable host, providing good company, free tours and helpful advice. The rooms are large and in good condition, and the apartment in which you stay also includes a kitchen and small sitting/breakfast room. All in all, it's excellent value, with hospitality well above the norm but never intrusive or overbearing; a great place to stay in Palermo.

Once upon a time in Palermo

My husband and I stayed at Giorgio`s house for couple of nights and despite of July's humidity (the wind called Shiroko was blowing from Sahara's desert) we loved it. Giorgio made a great effort to came and pick us up at Palermo train station at about 10pm to take us to his B&B. Next day he offered us to take us for a Palermo tour in the evening and show us some interesting places which we probably wouldn't see if he wouldn't take us there. He also offered to take us to another quite distant place (can't remember the name of the place) with a lovely beaches - all that for free.

I would recommend Giorgio's house to anyone who want's to see Palermo through the eye of a local.

Wonderful Holiday

Best service ever

I recently (may 2003) went to Palermo Sicily with my wife. We stayed for 3 days at Giorgio's Home in Palermo. We received the most fantastic service we ever experienced. Giorgio agreed to pick us up at the Central Station of Palermo to drive us to our B&B, which in fact was not far from the station in the center of the city. There are only 3 rooms at Giorgio's house but they are very large and comfortable. Later Giorgio offered us a tour of the city at night, we were driven to Monreale (some 15 km outside Palermo) to see the mosaics, we went to Mondello to taste different sicilian specilities and on our departure Giogio brought us back to the station. All this service was completely free of any charge. It made our visit to Palermo really unforgettable.
