I don't know why we're so excited....check back with us in a few hours when we're STILL in Texas! We stopped on the line to gas up. We threw on our old cowboy boots and our hats and walked around the TA for a bit. Merry Christmas from Louisiana! We started the day by taking a boat tour through a swamp. Because it is winter, all of the alligators are hibernating. But we did see raccoons, vultures, egrets, and great blue herons! The swamp was very neat with the Cyprus trees and other swamp plants.
