Anyways, they determined that the radiation readings were coming from the ceramic tile backsplash around our countertops ....whaaaa???? - the floor is covered with ceramic tiles too (but they didn't notice). We were told to rip out the tile and replace it with wood or plastic. Yes sir!!!

It's wild, magical and mysterious because of the fog and wind. The sand feels great beneath my toes, the salt smell is welcomed and the wind blows through me and awakens my heart. I'm here, I'm on the Pacific Northwest coast... I'd asked to do this and the universe had delivered the opportunity via two brothers from Stafford. I'm happy.

... out to be sunny and warm. It was clear enough for us to
see all the mountains on the way down. Don't know why, but the traffic was
heavy from Vancouver to Eugene without a break in both directions. Hard to imagine a nation in economic straits on a day like that (the malls and shopping center parking lots were jammed).
