... week, inclusief de gebaren, geleerd heb, in de praktijk gezien. Sterker nog, mijn vocabulaire is op dat gebied weer uitgebreid. Toen hij uiteindelijk ook weer onder luid geschreeuw, gefluit en gejuich weg was, barste het feest los. Er werd gezongen, veel mensen ontkurkten champagne en er werd driftig met de Italiaanse vlag gezwaaid. Geweldig om daar bij te zijn.

... up by a local here. Instead, I got pulled up by another young Souths supporter who had seen my top - 19yo and over here doing some work until uni next year. Chatted to him for a while and he took our photo for us.
Sorry for the long blog, but there was a lot we covered today. Another 8 hours of walking, so looking forward to that first (second now) drink of the night. Off to dinner soon - I think we might have Italian ! AGAIN !!

Northern Italy Tour – Italy, the country of
... all they did in the past was fight against each others’ fortifications. The rulers changed from time to time, but the towns themselves are still authentic. The very narrow streets, many steps, and relics from the past, made these two towns a delight to wander around. The locals take pride in what they have, and the many hanging flower pots add colour to the narrow laneways. These towns were a nice finale to our northern Italy tour.
