    Our first day on our cross country trip

    OK so this is my first post on this site.
    Here are our stats for today.
    Left Oceanport at 8:45am and arrived in Sandusky, OH at 6:45pm.
    We traveled 545 miles on I-80 and it was a long and hot ride.
    Tomorrow is Chicago which is 250 miles, so an easy ride compared to today.

    ... arrived in Cleveland, and after lunch we went round the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which was really good, very well done and had an amazing photo exhibit by Herb Ritts, which was really good. Spent a couple of hours there and then we got back in the bus and drove to Sandusky where we were camping.     ... understatement. On to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame, we both agreed, it was a bit on the lame side. Because rock and roll grew partly out of country there are a lot of artists that are in both museums. Then there was the 80's..... need I say more? :) Back to the parking garage for the wild ride down. ...

    We leave on Sat. to start our long awaited adventure and today the car made it's first road trip up from Caldwell to Creston. Last day is tomorrow still issues to deal with but we are still but with continued help with all my friends we will leave on time. It may not have the air conditioning in but what are windows ...
