As soon as Mary was 100% coherent from her hip surgery, I packed up and left for Maryland/Virginia. I got a couple of "attaboys" for that one! She was in good hands with Pete and Diane and she had her sisters on alternate weeks as well, so there was no reason for me to hang around. Pete says he'll never forgive me for leaving him with "4 Diane's" for the month!

We had a pretty uneventful flight. There was a toddler behind us who screamed for a short while, who wasn't nearly as distracting as the douche next to us who loudly sighed or scoffed every time the kid made one sound! I know Aaresh and I are more immune to crying after having Aries, but it really wasn't that bad. He shrieked for about 5...MAYBE 10 minutes, and then just an intermittent shout after that. No free meals on this United flight, but we did get beverages. ...
I have long wondered what it would be like to live in an RV. One notion I have had for my retirement life is to roam the nation living in an RV. We would go from park to park, forest to forest, beach to beach, town to town. Stay a month, six months, or whatever. We would explore the wild and natural beauty of our nation, imbedding ourselves in each area and becoming part of the culture, the scenery, the vibe.
