Today we put to the test the notion that we are "very fast by feet" (an assertion made by the lady at the information station in Reutte on our European Dream Vacation). Really wanted a genuine Philly Cheese Steak sandwich but believe it or not we couldn't find one. We ate at a restaurant then turned a corner onto what can only be described as 'Philly Cheese Steak alley'.
Hindsight is a ***** !

... taking normal instances for granted, particularly cuisine and friendship and the intense satisfaction when being in Center City and looking up at the shiny blue skyline of Philadelphia. Hanging with dogs that I may know I never get to walk the same route with ever again. A work meeting at the Barbary, and thinking to myself that more than likely it would be the last time I see all of these people in the same company. The scooter is sold and the belongings ...
