... for years whose name is Kevin gave us a magnum of Zinfandel to have at dinner.

We had a wonderful dinner at a restaurant called Taste in Plymouth. Unfortunately Ami felt sick and had to spend most of the dinnertime asleep in their car. Most of that was just because she was so tired. Heidi had flown in late in the afternoon and was able to join us for dinner.

... rhinestone, shirts and cowboy boots & hats was the dress code. It certainly was something different! It had all the elements of a livestock fairs, goats, sheep, cows, chickens and of course chubby hogs (pigs). The big event was the competition for the Saddle Queen battled out in the big ring by three 18 year old girls. ... Overlook trail. The trees were amazing. The sad thing in the forest is the stump of the biggest sequoia tree that was cut down for fun by 5 men in 1852. It took them 22 days to cut down the tree that was 1244 years old. It was 280ft tall and 25ft in diameter. Before leaving the Lake Tahoe's region we make a two hours hike in the mountains at Squaw Valley, the location of the 1960's winter Olympics. The little village reminds Chamonix (there is also Chamonix square). There is a big Yoga event for the weekend, it's full of persons dancing and making exhibitions and selling tools on the roads.
