OK, what else do I need to know before I entrust my dear sweet traveling memories to this digital world. Hmmm. We like to play travel Bingo in our journal. ... very peaceful and rustic, great food from their own produce, a few drinks, music in the evening - just pleasant!

... and off season there was basically no one around.

We finish our loop in Fiddletown and the light was perfect for picture taking and the town terribly quaint and rather ramshackle.

Home to our little cottage. Kassy and I had a wonderful time making crispy shallots, ribeye steaks and a lovely arugula, pear, blue cheese salad topped with toasted pins nuts. A delicious meal with loved ones to end a beautiful day.

Before leaving the Lake Tahoe's region we make a two hours hike in the mountains at Squaw Valley, the location of the 1960's winter Olympics. The little village reminds Chamonix (there is also Chamonix square). There is a big Yoga event for the weekend, it's full of persons dancing and making exhibitions and selling tools on the roads.
