... three story spa hotel perched in the mountains. It included all your meals - and I mean fancy ass five course dinners… A spa, pool, resort with a giant, ginormous, huge, insanely large, airline hanger sort of indoor playroom for kids. The playroom had fuse ball tables, a big wheel track, table tennis, roller blading, a trampoline, a rock wall, a theater and tons of other fun stuff to do - all geared towards kids - big and small. Sillian, Austria to Trzic, Slovenia 150 miles

The blazing sun sapped all our energy so all we could do was watch the sky. But what a sky to watch. It hasn't been getting dark here until nearly 10pm but at 7.30pm the skies began to darken. ... cumulative total 162kms)
Let it be known, Germany and Austria are crammed with smooth cycle paths that weave through the countryside and keep bikes away from cars. Let it also be known that drivers are tolerant and friendly to cyclists. Today saw us cycling through further rolling farming fields and passing through numerous small quaint villages, each with a single feature church steeple. Grass so green ...

... an ant's nest. I've included plenty of photos but I'll be surprised if they can convey the extent, drama and grandeur of the scenery.

I'm surprised that my map rated the circuit "easy" in view of the long steep climbs involved. I didn't find it easy, and clearly neither did those around me. The return trail did look less difficult so ...
