Took the bikes for a ride this afternoon, south up the valley to Lago di Landro, riding along an old rail track. Nice bike ride – around 9 km each way, with a slow but steady gradient up the valley. impressed by what we saw of Kitzbuhel – a busy town with a traffic problem. Lienz is on the northern edge of the Dolomites and is a
great town- pleasant and functional, with a beautiful

This time, we couldn't use the little train (Hoehenbahn - Schmalspurbahn) directly to the restaurant because the heavy rain undermined two weeks ago the tracks. A temporary path was built and plastic planes covered this area (see pictures).
