Today we farewell Salzburg! Our plans were clear and simple. Leave our hotel by taxi to train station. Catch train at 10.12am to Villach . Once in Villach alight and take the bus to Venice. Simple! Not so simple if you miss the name of the station you are supposed to get off and just sit there chatting! Dam just a short run from base and we passed some amazing waterfalls and arrived with not another person around - not a bad thing to be alone when you are stood on a glass platform at 200m. Back into Gmund for a look around the Porche Museum and town, quick bite to eat with a rather indulgent Iced Coffee.
