    ... large supermarket is just down the road, so that is handy for buying a few supplies, including milk (hate the little UHT tubs of milk for tea/coffee), and cereal for breakfast. Our hotel is on a quiet street, but well positioned for the monorail that takes us into the city for $1 senior’s rate!!! We feel we are happily settled in for the week, and glad we will be in control (mostly) of our timetable.

    After a crazy morning of traveling to and through Denver, we all made it through our first passport checks and made it to Seattle. We have a bit of a layover at the airport to get our last airport meals. (See attached pictures).

    ... 1911 as a link between eastern and western Canada. It is patterned after the Plaza Hotel in NYC and is on the National Historic Registry in Canada.

    Since our flight arrives late, it will be a quick dinner and then off to bed. Tomorrow we get a sightseeing trip of Winnipeg attractions and meet the remainder of our travel group in the evening.

    Washington. The green, rainy state that radiates a chilled and fresh atmosphere with mountains. Seattle, the non - Capitol, home of the space needle, rock n roll roots and ocean views.
