After another bus journey and a long walk we arrived at our hostel to be greeted by Tom (we like to call him Tam). ... going, we headed to Vintgar Gorge. This gorge has a river running through it, with lots of cascades and a few waterfalls. It was an enjoyable walk through the gorge, but Dad was starting to get a little worn out, so we decided it was probably time to get some dinner. Beautiful blue sky, so got up and had some breakfast then headed out on foot following the map to the Vintgar Gorge. It's about 4km from Bled. The Bled TIC map is really good – it shows all little tracks and roads, as well as all the hiking trails which are numbered and signposted. ... the way we got amazing views of the whole valley. We sat at this lil bench for a bit taking pictures... when here this lil "BAAAAAH!" We're like... huh?
