    The second day was preceded by a much longer sleep than the first, which allowed us to build up some of the energy levels which had been drained by the previous day's skiing.

    ... of Lucerne was a subtropical beach. After checking this out we spent a bit of time at the museum and soon after we hurried to the most sought of attraction in the garten-- the mirror maze!

    ... and the journey ahead but with all the shouting between these Japanese tourists one cannot hear a word!! For some reason these people just cannot talk quietly to each other and seem to think the whole world needs to hear them!!!

    This railway up the mountain is of course a rack railway and sure climbs some really steep gradients. As it leaves Grindelwald the line ahead looks more like a roller coaster than an actual working railway.
