This last minute trip was all over the place. We went to Zurich, Rhein Falls, St. Gallen, and Rapperswill. There were a lot of circumstances we encountered.. good and bad. So, I just want to focus on the good.

Let's start with the drive in. We took a "car-share" from Milan. It was the most beautiful drive; I think I took roughly 100 pictures just on the drive to Zurich from the border (less than 3 hours).

As we got into Switzerland the weather changed drastically. The first stop that we got out at was a lot colder and the scenery was also getting greener. We drove through the longest tunnel in Europe then started a massive climb up to around 2200 metres ...

We stayed in a small town of Airolo just north of Lake Lugano, We took the high speed train for a couple hours, It was a very cute little town and luckily we didn't even have to worry about getting to the hotel since it was just across the street! We got in about 1 so had lunch and then Gary and I decided to go into Faido, my grandmother's home town. My grandma had taken my cousin, who was 18 and I, who was 15 years old, there for the summer and had ...
