A day of cold and hot
... beat. Yes I have changed a few bearings and the front forks needed new springs but when I consider where she has been and the conditions she has been through she has been extremely reliable. She is an extremely comfy bike to ride and most of the time I could simply carry on and on forever on her. I won’t brag yet as I still have a long way to go before I’m home but for all the places around this planet this machine has taken me to I am extremely proud of her.

Stranded in St Moritz
... struggling along the road in the snow. They were certainly not in their natural environment where they were.
As it was still snowing by the bucket I decided to sit in the hotels computer room and work on my photos etc.
The snow finally decided to give up around 2pm and so I decided to take a walk and go and explore the wonderful tourist town of St Moritz.

Sondrio, Tirano and the Bernina Express
A well catered breakfast by the hosts saw us well fed for the few hours we had in Vareenna prior to heading off to Sondrio to drop the car off. Varenna is settled at the foot of Lake Como and wow what a fantastic view of the lake and mountains you get - it really is a beautiful town and we are now regretting the too short time we have here.
