    ... cookies we put down the windows, and preceded to take turns napping in the car. It was quiet, and we had a great breeze off the ocean.     We got up this morning hoping to get in a couple of tours today. We managed to get on a 10:00 nature bus tour on Assateague Island. We went to a back area to the north side of the island to see some of the wild ponies. The return trip was the most entertaining when we rolled up on a group of ponies as two were going to town trying to expand the herd. Explain that to the children.
