... somewhere around 12:30. After finding our hotel, and giving ourselves the guided tour of downtown it was time for lunch. It was either Subway, or McDonald's, our choice was limited. We decided on Subway, and the adventure began. I had to get the #1 idiot on the island making my sub. I ordered a footlong turkey sub. Well, Mr @$!& for brains starts putting two chicken breast on the sub. I had to tell him that wasn't turkey, so he takes it off. Next, ...
... in the middle of the road. This group decided the road was their private spot, and we were not going anywhere. How hysterical it was to watch them bring a large bus to a complete stop. After tying up the road for 10-15 minutes they got bored with us, and let us leave. We had 45 minutes for lunch, and get to our boat tour. Lunch went down so fast we didn't know we ate. ... had gone North first, all would have been good. We saw the ponies up close, and a white tail deer grazing. The deer was wearing a collar.
Back to the bus by 4:30. I sat out and read a while, had dinner in the coach, and light rain began at 7PM.

... but it was a birders paradise! Herons, egrets, ospreys galore. The day ended we a picture perfect sunset over chincoteague bay. We never got the storms here that helped produce the vibrant colors. So my apologies to those in the area who had a wet evening but we sure enjoyed the colors! Tomorrow we may stick around here a little longer to witness a NASA rocket launch. Then it's back to busy beaches as we make our way to Virginia ...
