    Arrived into LA with enough time to visit to Qantas' swish new lounge. Not a patch on the Hong Kong lounge and I think the BA lounge in NYC was nicer. The Qantas lounge did look to have great food though but we weren't interested. It was nearing midnight.

    i have walked down to the shopping centre, 10 minute walk, lovely lass has sorted my phone, I will Email number to kids.

    on the shuttle bus there was a couple from Mauritius, they will be on same Globus tour. I will chat to them ...

    ... seasons, day and night. The observatory is interactive so the kids were kept occupied. Griffith observatory is free to go in but there is an admission price for the Samuel Oschin Planetarium... This is a must do! $7 for adults and $3 for kids. It was amazing. I learnt so much about our universe and the northern sky, but the projection on the ceiling was the most memorable... It felt at times I was flying. After a quick stop at the gift ...

    ... around the river. We hired some cruiser bicycles and braved the cold wind to go up and down and around the river and local area. It was a great way to see the city and one of my favourite things about my visit to Portland. After we finished cycling, we stopped by voodoo donuts - an institution in Portland.     ... songs... we have sung ourselves around the world! I can't believe how many places we have been that has a song written about it. And we will definitely be watching Sonic Highways with fresh eyes. We saw a few before we left and but we want to revisit them all. Cam and I are a bit weird with taking photos.
