    ... there were two more viewing points a bit more up. I was totally in for it, probably since I had no clue what was next to come. The hiking trail got tougher and a lot more steep and we had to climb stairs that were very asymmetrical, plus there were so dangerously slippery spots and my great nike runners weren't made for this as they had no profile under them. Reaching viewing point number two definitely gave a much broader view of the city and even nicer then viewing point number one. ...

    Los Angeles We arrived in LA for 3 days of celeb stalking! We were staying in Hollywood just off Hollywood Boulevard & the Walk of Fame. Due to our flight being delayed by a few hours we didn't arrive until 3am when a fight was breaking out on our street, loads of police cars..! Drama already!     ... be closed again. Our next major stop was just south of Big Sur at the Intriguing Piedra Blancas elephant seal rookery near San Simeon. The beach was packed with sun baking seals and the air screaming with the bellows of booming, guttural grunts from the males, and squawks and squeals from mothers and babies.     ... where you sit and eat in old train cars. Unique! No Cokes were had here...we had the 1st McD in our sites! More highway speeds took us past Victorville and the beautiful Cajon Summit Pass where things were finally starting to look like the CA we knew. The Summit Inn Cafe looked boarded up so it's a good thing we didn't have our hopes set high on an ostrich burger for dinner!

    ... three times before, but for short times, I have been unable to visit some of the Rome must see places, like the Borghese museum and gardens, or Villa D'Este or Ostia Antica, this is my chance and we have tickets to see those places. I'm eager to have dinner in Transtevere where every one says is the place for good restaurants, but just being in Rome again will be great.
