And here we are now in Oz!! As soon as we landed, we both said we think we're going to love it here! So we're in Melbourne now, probably going to stay here for 5 days then head up to Sydney for the next part of our adventure!

... funniest thing to me was that most of the whole circular departure lounge was taken up by slot machines!! So, you can literally gamble right up until take off! I only had about an hours wait until I was boarding the small (Ryanair like) plane, and saw my last view of the strip before it was just desert. I spent the night hanging in the hostel bar, where very cheap beers were served and the bar hosted an international beer pong tournament. It was awesome, I teamed up with an american guy called Jeff, from New Orleans, who had the coolest accent ever.
