We saw several bears, caribou and moose, as well as a marmot and an arctic fox and a ground squirrel with attitude, but many of them were ...
One morning, lying in bed, i could hear the wind howling outside. I turned over for an extra 5 minutes in bed, because i knew that wind was going to be a cold one. Low and behold, even the dogs stayed in their houses 'till the last minute. During my poop scooping i had a little ice hockey match with Pops before lunch. You just stuff that full of wood before you go to sleep and that keeps it going all night. Since you're not going in and out of the cabin the heat builds up and the temperature rises to about 30 degrees! Never thought I'd be throwing open the door at -20°C! I had some chocolate throughout the day ...
