    ... small BBQ restaurant in Cashiers, a town not far from Brevard. This is the most typical southern style pit BBQ place we have managed to find, and the food and atmosphere didn't disappoint.

    ... my feet, so sometimes I clomped along like Boris Karloff's Frankenstein monster (but without my arms stretched out in front). I really hope I don't have stress fractures. The only cure for that is staying off your feet for three months. Bookworm Michele would have been fine with that. Bootcamp Michele, not so much.

    ... paper said that we need to be aware of switch backs and high winds but it truly did not register to the degree of the severity of the switch backs. Why for the first time in my life I brushed it off was beyond me BUT I’m glad I did!!!!! I’m not the biggest fan of switch backs and I get myself worked up even before riding them SO someone from above was looking out for me and protecting my nerves from getting the best of me.
