    My final overseas trip of the year was to Holland and I arrived back home on December 20th with a very bad cold and cough. I must say it was one of the worst trips I have experienced in a long time.

    We celebrated X-mas, and opened gifts, around 7pm on the 25th. Again way too many gifts, but what's done is done ....... again.

    On December 26th Vera and I packed up the kids into a full size rental SUV ...

    ... paper said that we need to be aware of switch backs and high winds but it truly did not register to the degree of the severity of the switch backs. Why for the first time in my life I brushed it off was beyond me BUT I’m glad I did!!!!!
