... After he directed us to the restroom of an Indian restaurant, all of a sudden without asking us whether or not we needed a guide he started to show us around. Which I admit was helpful, he led us to Buddhist and Hindu temples, to an old dutch church and to a Vegetarian restaurant, teaching us thier history as we explored, it just became exhausting when he tried to lead us to shops very insistently that we didnt really want to go to because obviously he was in cahoots ...

We seeked the comfortably airconditioned Sri Lankan Airport we had left. We spent the last 10 hours in an airport, drinking the time away before setting off for Bangkok, this is where the fun began..
