... airplanes, but even I was impressed. The Spruce Goose is so large that the wings had to be trimmed to fit into the enormous building. I was disappointed because after paying $24 to get into the museum, they wanted additional $$ to go into the cockpit where you got your picture taken. Then I figure they’d have charged us for the picture. To think that it only flew for a few minutes 70 feet off the ground. ...

... the border crossing limitations, we likely would have bought a case of his wines! Needless to say, he and Dougie had a great time yakking about wines and wine-making, grape-growing, etc, etc! I also enjoyed talking with Dyson because he had tons of info for us about places to see and things to do when we go to Spain and Portugal in the fall, so he wrote it all down for us and I've transferred it to my maps and notes!

... it has barely gotten over 50. Today I was sprinkled on during my first five miles and the wind was vicious and cold. It looks like that is now the forecast for the rest of the week. Boo Hiss!

Tomorrow I'm planning to get out early, hit the gym and be home by noon. I'm feeling stronger every day and more optimistic about proving my podiatrist very wrong! Any over 50's out there want to train with me? I'd love to have the company. See you tomorrow!
