... airplanes, but even I was impressed. The Spruce Goose is so large that the wings had to be trimmed to fit into the enormous building. I was disappointed because after paying $24 to get into the museum, they wanted additional $$ to go into the cockpit where you got your picture taken. Then I figure they’d have charged us for the picture. To think that it only flew for a few minutes 70 feet off the ground. ...

... the border crossing limitations, we likely would have bought a case of his wines! Needless to say, he and Dougie had a great time yakking about wines and wine-making, grape-growing, etc, etc! I also enjoyed talking with Dyson because he had tons of info for us about places to see and things to do when we go to Spain and Portugal in the fall, so he wrote it all down for us and I've transferred it to my maps and notes!

... any distance. I was a bit surprised that a physician working for an organization that advertises the benefits of walking would imply that it was not a good idea to walk long distance if you are over a certain age. Maybe he was saying they just don't; which is very different than they can't.

As the conversation continued, I explained that I would be walking for 5 or 6 days, stopping for 2 days, walking for several days, stopping for 2, etc, ...
