St. Patricks Day in Christchurch
... and with one of the roughest sea crossings I have ever had we arrived to a cold and wet Stewart Island. So, we headed straight to the bar and waited for the rain to pass. Luckily the rain here comes in short bursts so we made for the beaches and bays once it cleared up!
That’s all for this week folks. Next week i will be out with one of the reps and on a farm stay for 3 days where I will get some hands on experience!

Reverse Cultureshock
... gemaakt met de andere artsen en hierdoor 3 dagen lang op zo'n beetje alle 'afdelingen’ meegelopen. Was echt zo super indrukwekkend. Vooral de afdeling chirurgie. Heel veel dingen gezien die je in Nederland nooit van ze lang zal ze leven zal tegenkomen.
Na Mae Sot heb ik me herenigd met Mieke en Annelinne in Chiang Mai. Was echt heeel erg leuk om weer mensen van thuis te zien. Even niet meer op nieuwe mensen afstappen, hetzelfde riedeltje (wie ben je, waar kom ...
Nieuw Zeeland is fantastisch!
... zijn hier. Ze komen spontaan naar je toe om een praatje te maken en seinen naar je op de weg of zwaaien! In denk dat het positief is in ieder geval ;) We zijn ook super blij met de camper. Alles zit er 'compact' in met een vette gril erop! Jaaa. En als het regent zitten we lekker binnen,. De kampeerders snappen waar ik het over heb. Maar tot nu toe is het elke dag zo'n 22 graden! We zijn eerst het centrum van Christchurch ...

... humans are. Though it was kind of comforting seeing so many people put so much care into the 'Hearts for Christchurch' exhibition with notes for all those who lost their homes, lives or loved ones.
Anyway, the next day Charlie arrived in Christchurch so we went for a kayak down the river that runs through the gardens, and then went back into the museum for him to look around and for me to see the last bits that I didn't get time to see the day ...

They have the most amazing museum in Wellington which after two vistits I still hadn't seen it all.
