    ... had such cool stuff inside.  There was even an old western saloon!  Heather, Carter and I went for a hike up the mountain to an old gold mine.  The view was spectacular.  Carter and Heather were very fortunate to have the own private tour guide.     13 hours on the road and we pulled into the driveway at 9:30 p.m. Wasn't that bad. Had some good Mexican food in Las Cruces. Place called Chilitos. I really do not like Texas. It is ugly. Back at camp the majority of us decided to sleep outside the hogan (traditional Navajo hut) but before bedtime we had a gathering around the campfire, Willie told us stories about life on the reservation when he was growing up.     How nice we are all still here and the world lives on.. some of you may know today, 21st December 2012, was the last day of the mayan calender and there is a huge following of "preppers" and the like who believed today would see the end of the world... thank goodness they were wrong..
