Our family went to the Fremantle prison in Fremantle. We saw all of the cells, the gallows, church and even a ghost! There was pretty awful conditions in the prison including the cockroach infestation that has been in the prison ever since the day that the prison was built and is still there today. Woke up very early, but got up at 05:30, to be ready to lead just after 06:00, dressed not in my usual backpacking clothes - my ship's clothes are somewhere on Nellie still. We walked along the Marine Terrace and saw the Esplanade Hotel and other old buildings. Next we walked through the Fremantle Markets where we bought Kranskys in bread rolls for lunch. They were yummy.

Today is our last day before we head to the airport tomorrow afternoon for our flight home. We went to the Perth Mint, where on a guided tour we saw a gold bar poured. Very cool. We were keen to make the most of the indoor climbing gyms that are in Perth. This time we headed to "The Hangout" where we had a blast. Tonight it will be packing bags and relaxing before our flight home. The adventure is just about over- we had a great time. Must start planning the next one
