... a few feet and stopping, cars as far as the eye could see in front of us and behind us. I cannot believe that people do this every day! Made it to South Portland, Maine. Todd kicked us out at a Mall while he fuelled up and washed the Tahoe. I didn't ask, but I would suspect he checked out the industrial area too! Lol Early start tomorrow, destination ...

... visited 7 states and one Canadian province. The Lakes & Lobsters group had 248 people and 177 motorcycles. I'm proud to be able to say we accomplished all this and made some amazing friends along the way.

... for its oysters, we were happy to let our server recommend a variety from different farms in nearby Damariscotta Bay. We sampled four varieties and were surprised to notice different sizes and flavors. Our oyster palates were becoming informed! Day two: Off to Cape Elizabeth to see the Portland Head Light, an important lighthouse in maritime history. Just south of Portland, this would be a day trip.

... arrived just in time for Thomas to start boarding. I hugged them goodbye with at least the promise of seeing them at their wedding in May!

On the way home, I decided I was deserving of a trip back to Freeport for some retail therapy for all of my driving and picked up a few goodies for me and Mark.
