Hello NZ, we are here!!! It was a painless 10 hour flight from Singapore. We will rent a car and spend about a week travelling around and hopefully wind up in Wellington. Good flight on Emirates, nice service, I like them. Also, if anyone is travelling on Virgin or Singapore airways and would like to donate their flying points to me, do let me know! Only 10,000 more and I can upgrade myself out of cattle class!

Bank appointment was set for 10.30 so set the alarm for 8.15 for the shower and hairwash malarchy. Clearly, this is me, I didn't get up and it was all a last minute rush.

Had a leisurely stroll down to the bus station at about 9,30ish, past the early settlers cemetary, which seems to be very small and stuck in the weirdest location - clearly the town has been built around it.
