Having been home over a week now, I am still no happier to be here. I did get the chance to do a little shopping and replace my carry-on, so I believe that means it is time to plan the next trip! As far as the title goes, I was composing that in my head the second night I was home, as I lay there unable to sleep. Night one was a beautiful thing (for me at least). I was out from around 10pm until ...
... before our final flight, we didn't have much time to think about it. The last flight came and went uneventfully. We eased in to the partially snow covered runway and I silently cursed the fact that I was home (ok, yeah, I probably said it out loud too). Brenda texted her friend and we headed to baggage claim. So when I came across a night food tour while biking around the beautiful suburbs of Melbourne I thought: why yes, please...sign me up!! Luckily Brenda was on board with that plan as well. So we will be scooting around on our little red bikes, helmets securely on our heads (as it is the law) and ready to try whatever tasty bites Freddy's has in store for ...
... make sure we are not missing deadlines. Called the banks. Spoke to Greg for hours. Stopped the mail until we're back. Making arrangements with mom for Winda to drop off Freya. Emailed all our neighbors to watch over our house while we are gone. Getting ready to miss our little puppy, but excited to see my in-laws!
Indonesia here we come!
