Monday 20 to Sunday 26 July

Expecting something in the region of 10,000+ aircraft, in no time at all, the homebuilt camping area filled up.

There was no need for an alarm clock – each morning we were awoken by aircraft engines just before 6am! The big day! We needed to clear customs/immigration into the USA. Our first flight took all of six minutes from one side of the river to the other. Sanderson is a small port of entry but busy at this time of year with mainly Canadians heading to the show. Formalities completed and we were on our way again in an hour. A short two hour flight, but bumpy which reminded us that we were going into ...

We are still home yet. Since it is Christmas season, we have a lot to get done other than just packing for the trip.

Winda: I have been writing Christmas cards for our family and friends since last weekend. It is a good thing that I ordered 40 Christmas-themed forever stamps from the post office. All the Christmas gifts are wrapped ...
