... 5pm Mass with their families. During Mass, Msgr. Vincke will give us a blessing for trip.

After months and months of planning and fundraising we are so ready to go forth and bring Christ's love to Cincinnati!
Please keep us in your prayers. We will be departing at 10:30am on Sunday morning and will return on July 18.

... s we saw advertised since we arrived in Canada), we walked down a steep hill about 1 kilometer to see the falls at night. If you're not sure, that's a little over 1/2 mile. The falls were beautiful all lit up. It was a bit cold with the wind and mist so we didn't stay long. It could also be because it was after 11pm. We did stop at Tim Horton's on the way back to get a snack and a break from the steep incline back to our hotel. Total miles driven to date: ...

... next stop was dinner with Pam's parents at Latina's in Flint. The food was great and the company even better. Matt, Pam's father, is a real bearded Santa and loves to play the part year round. We told the kids they had to address him as Santa. Caitlyn agreed to as long as he would call her Batman. We went over to their house after dinner and visited a while before heading back to the Bailey's for bedtime.

When we got to Frankenmuth we were in for a surprise. It was a little town like a diamond in the rough. It's like a Bavarian Village and they were having a festival. The village was really pretty and we enjoyed walking around seeing the sights. There was a wooden covered bridge that we were able to walk through as well as lots of neat shops. We had to get some popcorn and a cupcake since we were in need of a snack ...

Tonight is our last night here in Frankenmuth. We've had a pretty good time. We spent two days and three nights here and done some fun things around the area.

On Tuesday, we drove north up to Saginaw and hit a couple of antique malls in the city. We also took advantage of the big city and did some re-provisioning, like finding a Bank of America ATM, a good drug store and some decent ice cream! ...
