... what this meant, but she let me through. I don't know how it happened. I haven't had any liquids in my bag at all, but my passport was fine last time I needed it. The only thing we can come up with is that it must've got wet when water was splashing into the boat on the Glacier Lagoon yesterday in waves. My bag got wet and it appears my passport did too. There were two people at gate 30 when we arrived, but we were soon overrun by four school groups. With about 200 ...

... states we are passing the site of Marshalsea Debtors Prison of Dickensian fame - but there's no longer any evidence of it. Very much in evidence however, is 'The Golden Hinde' ship - not the original but a magnificent replica. Now we arrive at Clink Street. The tour hosts around 50 Beefeaters and their family all who have served at least 25 years in the commonwealth armed forced. Rest of the hop on hop off got us back to the right tube stop to get ...

I have never unintentionally (I did do the CN Tower once!) climbed so many stairs in one day! Checked out of my hotel at Earl's Court (tear) & made my way to Russell Square & the Contiki basement to store my luggage. Riding the tube in semi rush hour was an experience! We were squashes like sardines with my big ole suitcase! Then it was off to the Tower of London, the fortress of London! Dates back to William the Conquerer, & the Normans, ...

After breakfasting at a cafe in Waterloo Station, we walked down to the Waterloo Bridge and then along the river to the Millennium Bridge where we crossed over to St Paul's. We decided not to buy an entry ticket as it was fairly expensive and we had been there before. We caught a bus to the Tower of London and had a look through the outside souvenir shop before we stopped for lunch at an al fresco cafe on the river. After that we continued down to the ...
