... years, as I have shepherded them both, and then also joined them in marriage 20 years ago. I had heard many of the stories of their adventures in Thailand, and over the years, had expressed a desire to travel with them. I was usually traveling or getting ready to travel as they were planning their next Alaska Team trip. Then, the opportunity arrived last year for me to travel with the Alaska Team 2008, and I had a great adventure as I met ...

After the cookout, Ron and Hazel asked us if we wanted to ride to the Hot Springs with them. Hazel really wanted to see some moose along the way, but we were only able ...

The funniest thing about it is when I went to order the girl at the window asked me if I was from Texas. All I could think was "Oh no, do I have an accent? ****." Turns out she was from Corpus Christi. It's a small world.

... really positive and recent reviews. You don't want one that has one 5 star review or one that has a ton of 5 star reviews, but recently went downhill, but still has a good average. Actually read the reviews, a lot of Americans complain about a hotel based on the size of the rooms when in reality it could be a ...

... One Bag One World). These people debate the differences between brands like Red Oxx and Tom Bihn, MEI, REI, and Rick Steves. Hardly the Tumi vs. Samsonite vs. Swiss Army luggage wars I was used to, but they have many valid points. And the same things that attracted them to each of those brands caused me to consider each of them. These bags are lightweight, well made, well organized and designed to be carried by a real person ...

My job is to take care of Gauge, our dog, make my bed, and set the table each day. I am interested in helping the Burmese people. I learned about them at our church. I hope to teach them survival skills, and how to build shelters. The Family of Ken & Allison: Allison: This ...

... in their travel guide (never a good idea by the way). We were greeted by Steve, an entertaining Scouser with an exceptional barnet (grade 2 back and sides with long hair on top), who was more than happy to take our money (£45 per night) before directing us to our log cabin.  The term "log cabin" was a very sneaky way to describe what appeared to be no more than a B&Q economy garden shed. There was enough room for a ...

... to appreciating the sport of dog mushing. Considering the eagerness of the dogs to run why not let them go for it and let them run several times? It was pointed out that the park continues to rely on the dog teams as the major means of transportation for the patrolling of the park during the winter. Patrols can takes weeks to complete. Much was made of the ecological advantage which the dogs have over snow mobiles for this purpose. To accomplish this task ...
