We feel that this has been a truly wonderful trip, both with regard to the sometimes challenging activities and the places we visited. We felt the family visit where we made the empanadas was our favorite, closely followed by the stop where we visited with the family working the sugar cane mill. Certainly the rafting and zip-line experience will always be remembered.

... memorable experiences. Our only regret is that our Connecticut good friends and traveling buddies Ross and Jane decided not to join us this time. We will be part of a small group with fourteen other participants and our tour guide Rafael, all of whom we will meet for the first time when we arrive in San Jose. If previous experiences hold true, many will become good friends by the end of the trip.
