We stopped by the Allman Brothers museum at Macon (rhymes with bacon) yesterday, which is 'the big house' where the band all lived at the height of their creative period. Definitely one for the obsessive fan, but still ok just to wander around aimlessly, despite a lack of any meaningful labelling. Hey, that's rock and roll, dude.

We left Miller Lane in the dark in a temperature of about 8 degrees. Little did we know we would see 25+ before the end of the day. This was one of the more pleasant trips through Cincinnati. We stopped for fuel before we got downtown and anticipated an easy Saturday drive instead of rush hour.
