... like camouflage clothing. Riverwood has only one of these that I am aware of. By Knoxville I was driving again and we witnessed an accident on the lanes of the other direction that had the police officer driving against the traffic to reach it.

Goergia always makes itself known with the large number of billboards. We stopped at the Welcome Centre for hotel discount coupons and decided to try for Macon again. We have stayed ...

Visited the Main St Gallery but the right Folk Art wasn't there - some cute birds and a gourd turkey - but not quite right. Had a dynamite lunch in a new restaurant called Fortify and then headed south. Drove through the pour in rain and arrived at the KOA. Had "lovely" take-out from Wendy's and turned in early. Had ...

More on toll roads, and bugs

A travel blog entry by dsandow on Sep 14, 2013

... along with us. These bugs are called love bugs down here as they typically travel joined in pairs. You get the picture. At least they go out happy. I, on the other hand, had to scrub the front window twice today just to be able to drive safely. So, lest you think it is all fun and games out here on the road, think of bugs splattering us along the way. I know, no sympathy is to be expected, but it was an irritant nonetheless. ...
