... outside Ancaster, the same friend that I met recently for the Wine & Cheese show in Toronto. I was Jen's maid of honour in her wedding two summers ago. My mom and I went to visit and see wedding photos, but the chickens were an added treat.

As always, Jen's mom shined as a hostess and we sat out in the sun (the weather is unusually hot right now in Ontario) listening to the clucks of the nearby happy chickens.

... a public broadcast system. With the help of earplugs, pillows & heat exhaustion we are starting to get some sleep though!
Istanbul is amazing! We have been down to the Sultanahmet area where most of the major sights are. The Egyptian spice bazaar is exactly what I envisioned a spice bazaar to look like - rows of stalls with heaping spices of every colour - vendors calling constantly to come sample & buy their products - stalls upon stalls ...
