... t feel hungry after being ill we had seen a sushi place on the drive in and wanted to check it out. It took us a good thirty minutes to get there by which time I felt a bit faint but it was a cool place we’d found. Because we were travelling west we travelled with the sun, leaving Sydney at 11am, arriving Joburg at 4pm – it was a daytime flight of 14 hours. Therefore, African time 3am the next morning we were bushy tailed and ready to go as if we were in Australia – the dreaded jet lag!!! The setting is just lovely with the main old house and lovely gardens. It is gated and near the centre of town although you will need a car to get around and see the sights. Breakfast is lovely
