We got chatting with Balush who is now 24 years old (see picture with Terry). He grew up at the home and then trained as a lorry driver. 6 hour transit in Chennai
The minute I stepped out of the Chennai airport i could feel the moisture building up on my forehead. Chennai is a deadly combination of hot weather with an incredibly high humidity index. The day before we arrive in each port, while we are still
far enough away that land is not yet within sight, I will be outside on deck
and see either a bird, butterfly or in yesterday's case, a dragonfly zip by.
Its so surprising, after days at sea when we become accustomed to not seeing
any land dwelling animals or insects other than the people on the ship.

Salsa on St. Patty's
... was time to go salsa dance! Suresh took us to a fancy hotel's bar which hosts a salsa party twice a week. We all got up dancing at one point and by midnight we were home again and down for the night. First salsa St. Patty's day for me!
