... into a circular rotation on the belt. Minutes passed and the number of unclaimed bags dwindled considerably as travelers grabbed their belongings and left. The realization that our bag wouldn't be coming sunk in ever more deeply with each creaking, squeaking rotation of the baggage carousel, empty now except for one forlorn little bag circling hopefully for its owner. It was still on the slowly moving belt when we finally left the area to make a missing bag claim.

Day 2: Nebraska/Colorado Foothills

It was another long day of driving yesterday through the rest of Nebraska and into Colorado. We decided to take a scenic bypass onto Interstate 76 vs. 80 which took us straight into Colorado rather than Wyoming. ... the words “Rocky Mountain High”, think of more than how high the mountains are. The altitude definitely makes you feel “high” and to feel normal, park rangers advise you to go below tree level around 11,000 feet. There are 72 peaks over 12,000’. At the high elevations, it was bone-chilling at 47 degrees with frigid winds and rain showers. Brhhh!

Our time with Austen and Chandler filled our hearts with hope. Today we helped a brother, that received similar treatment from the same denomination, move from the camp area to the little town of Glen Haven, just outside of Estes Park.
