We began to descend into the Columbia River Valley, as the Grand Coulee Dam is on the Columbia River, and creates Roosevelt Lake above it all the way to Canada.

... the rear slide out that Ed is now afraid to slide out since it is not showing a default and the fuse had to be touched/held to operate. Therefore we are not able to walk around our bed or open the bathroom door all the way. We can only move through the hall one at a time. While inconvenient it is better that putting out the slide and not being able to get it back in....that is a game stopper! Too many miles to go to risk.

Hiked a crazy river trail in the morning, made Rainy Pass at 5 pm and were driven in to a wonderful world. The World of the Waylands. Thanks so much guys, too kind. We will return to trail tomorrow morning and start our final approach to the finish line. Another 60.77 miles and we will reach a monument on a border.
