    After packing a soggy campground and driving into town for coffee, we parked back at the campground and walked through the "fen" to the beach where there was a Kite Festival. We picked a spot far down the beach where the speakers weren't so loud but later realized that they were announcing sport kite flying.     ... Winery and Distillery right on the bank of the Umpqua River. A lovely home with tasting room in the back overlooking the river. Good wine there too. Sandy Glaser is the winemaker and her son Leon is the distiller - making some lovely little liqeuors. I think we could have happily spent several more days in this area but it was time to move on. Next stop Durango RV Park in Red Bluff CA.
