Arrived at Outdoor Resort St. Lucie West, Port St. Lucie FL. Home for the next month. A beautiful place, I have never seen so many Prevosts in one place!! We arrived at St. Maarten just after 8:00 am and our flight back to the US is not until 3:50 pm. What to do? We found our luggage and had to wait a couple of hours until we could check it for our flight back to Ft. Lauderdale. We ate breakfast, watched CNN and walked around the airport a bit. ... shrimp gumbo. I know right? Could they have found a stranger list of ingredients? The gumbo was good but the shrimp were so old they could have got a pension. Soft soggy and smelled of chemical preservative. And they came in the gumbo wih the shells still on. Interesting.
