Monday morning brought about another spectacular day weather wise. While we all got a good night's rest after the late night fire of the previous evening, we packed up and cleaned up the cottage. The owners were once again very gracious and told us that we could stay for another few hours, which would've been awesome but it was time to head to Victoria to do some touring before catching the ferry back to Vancouver later in the day.

Beautiful Gardens near Victoria. Was an old limestone quarry used to make Portland cement.

The owner, Robert Butchart's Wife, then transformed the 22 hectares into these magnificent Gardens.

Has been in the same family since it started.

... have been around since the 1800s. We had afternoon tea at Murchies.
What a find. The afternoon tea blend was very nice, Louise's hot chocolate was the envy of many who walked past us on the street and the fruit scone we shared was more than enough for both of us. Great food and great value. We went there twice and thoroughly enjoyed
ourselves. We posted this on our Facebook page and find out that it was the favourite tea/coffee shop ...

Got up and went to Tim Hortons so we could have a hot drink to warm up and use the Internet. We had arranged to look at a house at 5.30pm down Wilkinson Road in the suburb of Saanich. We were on the Internet looking for places to live and jobs to apply for. We had to wait until 1pm for the library to open so we went to the recreational center for a shower. ... in front of the house, reading and relaxing. It is also pretty to see at night as it is covered in lights. During Christmas the house is surrounded by christmas lights also.

- Visit the Buchart Gardens: I went at Christmas time to see the lights and i was a bit disappointed as all the flowers were dead. We did get to see the Victoria Royal's ice skating there which was cool. The lights were incredible but i think it is best to go in springtime as ...
