An early-ish start saw us at Vancouver bus station for our 9:45 bus to begin our journey over to Vancouver Island. I am going to a country I have never been to for 10 days alone. And hopefully I will fall in love with this country. I know I will. ...

- Mt. Douglas: (Shelbourne St) After a sweaty hike up the mountain we reached the top. The view is incredible. The first time i went myself and 6 friends just sat at the viewpoint for a good hour or so just looking out at the mountain ranges of America and Canada. You can see Seattle, Washington and parts of Victoria from the top. Definitely worth seeing. It's beautiful. I did this hike a number of times and the view never ceased to amaze ...
