... The room is on the top (5th) floor so the walls are slanted but it has a gorgeous bathroom, walk in closet AND both the bathroom and bedroom have a tiny walkout balcony overlooking the city. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 12:30 so we walked a few blocks and had lunch at an outdoor cafe called Chilai which is supposed to be a burger place. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was like a round, heavily seasoned meat loaf patty! Great roll ...

(Val's Report): Today was my planned trip highlight - the performance of the Lipizzaner stallions at the Spanish Riding School. It was a wonderful experience and completely lived up to my expectations. The dressage was amazing! The riders all have perfect position on their horses and they seem to be motionless on their horses. There is no shifting from side to side, shortening of the reins, etc. their aids are completely invisible! The horses are ...

Today was our first 2 day stopover. It has given us a chance to relax and get some washing done, so it has been a nice cruisy start to the day.. We had to sort our car out as we managed to get a parking ticket..€36 thank you very much..we did some research and if you don't pay or get another, they clamp your wheels, so hope we can get to Slovakia, before Duster is hobbled.. Like most of Europe they have brilliant public transport, with a combination of subway lines, ...
