Visiting St. Louis
Not part of the original plan to be going through St. Louis now
We did a Priceline deal at the very last minute coming into St. Louis (I didn't think it would work, but Tony insisted), and I was impressed with how great a place it got us, we were able to walk RIGHT across the street to the Arch! (And of course, the hotel wasn't too shabby either - perhaps the best place we'll stay on ...

We plan to stay around here tomorrow and will probably head down I-55 Sunday.
The motorhome with its new tires worked beautifully and we had no problems. Phil, who

We watched the bride and groom have their first dance. :) On Sunday we visited Kemp Auto Museum in Chesterfield. It had rare european cars and I had planned this for Jonathan. The muesum was small so we were done pretty early and didn't want to go to our hotel. We did some shopping and as we came ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Fleur-De-Lys Mansion Saint Louis
A b & b to remember!
What a wonderful place to stay if you are ever traveling to or through St. Louis! The amenities and attention to detail are phenomenal. The rooms are as clean as could be and the ambiance is five star. We have been to many bed and breakfasts throughout the country and this is the best. Jan and Dave are wonderful hosts and we will definitely be staying there again when we make our way to St. Louis.
Splurge and Have The Private Dinner!
We splurged on the suite and the private dinner for our 10 year anniversary and were so very pleased. What a treat! The bed was amazing--ironed linens scented with fresh lavender. The best part was dinner. We hand selected a menu created by chef Dawn. It was like dining in a five star restaurant with your own private dining room and chef. Delicious! Thanks to Jan and Dawn for a wonderful evening. This was a wonderful escape so close to home!
Amazing!!!
Absolutely fantasic B&B! The best I have ever stayed in. Gourmet breakfasts on weekends and a very plush and luxurious place to stay overnight. Very quiet and serene too. Excellent decor. Excellent hosts. What else can you ask for? We can not wait to book our next visit!
Blessed Sanctuary
My husband and I spent our first two wedding nights at the Fleur-De-Lys Mansion in St. Louis. No words can express how wonderful our stay was at the Mansion. We felt truly blessed to have had two days of sanctuary. The owners, Dave and Jan Seifert, made our stay even more special as they catered to our every need. They took special care and pride in every detail which made our stay at the Fleur-De-Lys quite memorable. My husband and I enjoyed great conversations with them but they were also careful to afford us as much privacy as needed. The Mansion is located in a historic neighborhood in South St. Louis, which is my home town. The Fleur-De-Lys had a wonderful mix of old world charm and modern convenience. When we entered, the polished dark wood and rich tapestries greeted us in the foyer. We enjoyed gourmet breakfasts in the dining room and relaxed in the sitting room on comfortable leather couches. We stayed in the Tower Grove room and absolutely loved it. The decor was elegant, as it was through out the Mansion, and we loved the big comfortable bed, jacuzzi tub, bath products, and the heated towel rack. I've always stayed at hotels but I must say that our experience at the Fleur-De-Lys has elevated my expectations for hospitality. Our experience rivaled any stay at a four or five star hotel. It was the perfect way to begin or marriage. We will definitely return to the Fleur-De-Lys.
An all-round super B&B
My wife and I stayed at the Fleur-De-Lys Mansion B&B for our anniversary and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We picked out the Botanical Garden room and were transported back in time by the luxurious surroundings..yet it had all of today's creature comforts! Jan and Dave Seifert, the innkeepers, were so welcoming but not obtrusive; making sure we knew where everything was and how to work the spa down the hallway. Leading from the 2nd floor spa is a small deck that overlooks the back yard garden and pond. Sitting out there with our Asti Spumanti and watching the sun set was a picture perfect time. Hard to believe one is in city limits. We felt very safe/secure. Restaurants in the Soulard area were nearby (Dinner for two at McGurk's Irish Pub cost $33 and included dessert). The spa had a lock for privacy (the deck leads out from there) and we used the rich robes from our room's closet. The plush bed, soft cotton sheets, scrumptious breakfast, private bath, great view, and friendly innkeepers made this our Best B&B experience ever.
A truly beautiful and relaxing visit
The mansion is absolutely beautiful. The room was quite large and the decor was exquisite. With the whirlpool tub in the room and the private use of the hot tub and balcony down the hall, we found the peaceful, relaxing evening away that we were looking for. With the wonderful breakfast the next morning and the comfortable yet gracious hospitality of the Seifert's, we are certain to return for a future visit.
Beautiful place; hospitable innkeepers
My husband and I stayed at the Fleur-de-Lys to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. I cannot speak too highly of the inn, the breakfast, the hospitality of the innkeepers, Jan & Dave Seifert, and of the complimentary champagne they served us to welcome us on Friday evening. It was a first-class, first-rate experience.
Great Accomodations at the Fleur-De-Lys Mansion - St. Louis
We want you to know how much we appreciate the way you treated us during our stay this past weekend. I can't remember a time when we felt so much at home, but yet had a romantic getaway. The hot tub spa
was awesome!
We look forward to future stays.
Thank you for your excellent service.

Business or Pleasure Destination
The Fleur-De-Lys Mansion was the perfect place for this wiery business traveller - I loved the safe and comfortable feeling of home while able to conduct all of my business due to amenities such as wi-fi. Dave and Jan are acceptional hosts that make you feel welcome and believe each guest is and should be treated special! I will return at every opportunity.
Exceptional hospitality
We went for our 5th anniversary and could not have asked for a more wonderful experience. The moment we stepped through the door, the warm, enveloping ambience of the Fleur-de-Lys captured our desires. The Mansion is beautifully decorated and Jan & Dave are such gracious host. We took advantage of the romantic getaway package and enjoyed an exquisite dinner prepared by a personal chef. We stayed 2 nights and it was truly the perfect romantic escape. We will be going back again and again and again.
