... After a lazy day at home, we ventured to the Allagash Brewery for a tour and tasting of their handcrafted beers. Started in 1995 (in a garage, no less!) the brewery specializes in Belgian-style beer, with Allagash White being its flagship beer. Yes, plural, meaning we had lobster rolls twice today! Once for first lunch and then again for second lunch, as Marette so aptly named those memorable occasions! It was a very good day, indeed.
Lobster rolls are to Maine what fish tacos are to San Diego! And Mainers certainly know how to do their "lobstah" ...
