Life and Death in a Taxi
... out from the curb. Reaching speeds of 160km/hr in a 100 zone was exciting enough. Mixing it up with random lane changes and mini/smart cars swerving across lanes and slowing down made it the scariest drive of my life. This is after experiencing driving Kazakhstan style.

Week Eight
... goes well, I should have it next week? This weekend I'm going to Monticello/ Castello Banfi (you should Google it- it's gorgeous!) as a day trip on Friday, continuing to Florence, meeting up with one of my good friends from the U, continuing to Venice on Saturday afternoon and then back to Rome Sunday night/ Monday morning taking the night train back since it's significantly less expensive and I don't have Monday morning class.

Welcome to Rome
... as somewhere like Miami. This proved to be true, as there’s even graffiti on the Coliseum. We went to the local supermarket, and after struggling to find shampoo and conditioner, I bought actual food…to cook…by myself!

Caity finds Nature!
... assumed there was no meat course since they were offering seconds..nope! potatoes and chicken, which were scrumptious. Then their version of pie...wasn't true pie, but it was very good. All roads lead to Rome
... more uphill than our city cycles like but it’s amazing how motivated you are to peddle when you have peak hour traffic burning down your neck! There was no walking up hills today – just peddle to the metal.
Dinner tonite was Steak with garlic vegetables of onion, carrots, tomatoes, yellow capsicum spinach and beans with potatoes... yum! The steak was a little over cooked but the vegies were very tasty. ...
