          ... rubbish sacks taking so long to stick up. "Now I think, we all think, the bags was a nice idea." And early that morning -2am, when the police man knocked on our window, he thought it was rather interesting too. He had never seen anything like it he said. It was perfectly fine for us to sleep there, but he thought our bags looked dodgy. So much for kiwi ingenuity.

          Monday we walked the Memorials from Washington to Jefferson, Roosevelt, Martin Luther King, Lincoln, Korea, Vietnam, Einstein and then to Georgetown to visit the Apple Store to see the new iphone 6. No I didn't not buy one....yet.

          We also got to have dinner and catch up ...

          ... friends for life. Our first stop after leaving New York was Philadelphia for lunch and to see the Liberty bell. When we arrived we stopped by the steps made famous by the movie Rocky where he runs up the steps. Shannon had to do it for himself too and it was 40 degrees he was crazy.
